THE STAGE WHERE THE WORLD WILL SEE GUADALAJARA

Guadalajara Stadium is one of the most recognized works of sports architecture in Latin America. Designed by Jean Marie Massaud and Daniel Pouzet, its form evokes a volcano covered by a cloud. Its outer canopy is not only aesthetic: it filters natural light and collects rainwater used to maintain the pitch, while standing alongside Bosque La Primavera.

For the FIFA World Cup 2026™, the stadium has a capacity of approximately 46,000 spectators and has installed the first FIFA Quality Pro-certified hybrid pitch in Mexico.

HISTORY AND GLOBAL PROJECTION

Opened in 2010, Guadalajara Stadium was designed from the beginning with a World Cup vision. Built between 2007 and 2010, it hosted the Guadalajara 2011 Pan American Games and the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2011, its first presentation to the world before this historic moment.

Over the years, the stadium has hosted some of the most important moments in Mexican and regional football. In 2026, it becomes a venue for the largest tournament in football history.

THE LAST MILE: YOUR ACCESS TO THE STADIUM

For the FIFA World Cup 2026™, entry dynamics at Guadalajara Stadium will be different from those used for regular local league matches. A Last Mile zone will be established as a restricted-access perimeter for both pedestrians and vehicles, with special safety and mobility operations in place.

Vehicle circulation: Access to the perimeter will be allowed only for duly accredited official vehicles, which will circulate through exclusive lanes fully separated from pedestrian flow.

General parking: Stadium parking will not be available to the general public. Remaining parking spaces will be limited and sold strictly in advance through the official JustPark platform. Please note that without prior purchase, vehicle access will not be permitted and no parking spaces will be available in the surrounding area.

Pedestrian access: Only spectators with a valid match ticket will be allowed to enter the Last Mile zone.

These measures are designed to protect public safety and ensure proper event operations. Visitors are encouraged to review available transportation options and plan their arrival in advance.
