The protected natural area of Bosque La Primavera is home to oak and pine forests, tropical dry forest, hydrophilic vegetation, white-tailed deer, pumas, coyotes, rattlesnakes, and more than 200 species of birds.
Together with the El Bajío Hydrological Protection Area, its volcanic soils help absorb rainwater, making it one of the main recharge zones for the Atemajac aquifer.
Let’s protect this environment together.
