Guadalajara is preparing to make history. The Host City Organizing Committee has officially announced the details of the FIFA Fan Festival™, the large-scale event that will transform our city’s Historic Center into a vibrant epicenter of the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
Under the motto “The Most Mexican Celebration,” the capital of Jalisco will offer an unprecedented experience that blends the world’s passion for football with the extraordinary cultural richness of our state.
Beginning June 11, in line with the opening match of the Mexican National Team, and continuing through the grand final on July 19, the emblematic Plaza de la Liberación will become a living bridge between nations.
Throughout the 39 days of the tournament, attendees will be able to enjoy:
• Free admission: Entry will be free of charge, subject only to venue capacity in order to ensure the safety of all visitors.
• Live broadcasts: Five giant screens so fans do not miss a single second of the action on the pitch.
• Entertainment: A lineup featuring local talent and activities designed for the whole family.
Gastronomy will be a fundamental pillar of this festival. The culinary offering will celebrate Guadalajara’s identity while integrating international flavors to welcome visitors from around the world.
Local flavor: From traditional tortas ahogadas and lonches de pierna to flautas, lechón tacos, and esquites.
Global and inclusive options: Themed stations with international food and vegan alternatives, ensuring that every palate finds its place in this celebration.
