The streets, the fans and the buzz already filling the Pearl of the West point to a celebration that will be felt in every corner of the city.
South Korea has arrived at its home away from home: Guadalajara. And the Most Mexican Host City gave the Asian side a warm welcome, one befitting a city known as the cradle of Mexican culture. The sounds of mariachi music, the vibrant colors of the escaramuzas and traditional charro performances created a picture-perfect scene that showcased the essence of Jalisco and Guadalajara’s unique identity.
The entrance to the team's hotel quickly filled with fans, who greeted the players with applause and displays of affection. The squad returned the gesture with smiles and visible excitement.
The Taegeuk Warriors will spend their first night in Guadalajara before holding their first training session tomorrow at Chivas Verde Valle, which will serve as their Base Camp throughout the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
